While Kane was spending his summer in Russia, Spurs have been preparing for the new season but unlike all the other top Premier League clubs, they are yet to make a signing.

The north London club have let Keanan Bennetts and Anton Walkes leave, and have still not bought a single player despite the window closing soon on August 9. 

However, Kane isn’t overly bothered and has full trust in his manager Mauricio Pochettino to make the right calls.

‘That’s up to the gaffer and the chairman, and I am sure they will get who they want and get rid of who they want,’ Kane said to Sky Sports.

‘From our point of view we’ve just got to focus – we’ve got a great squad, we’re growing and getting better each year, and it’s important for us going into the new stadium just to keep progressing.’ 

Spurs start their Premier League season against Newcastle United on August 11 before taking on Fulham on August 18.
